Obama Gets Mixed Reviews on Environmental Issues

Obama Gets Mixed Reviews on Environmental IssuesA recent poll shows that most believe President Obama is only mixed on the issues of environment, not for and not against. Obama has spent an impressive amount of time talking about the issues but overall the advocacy groups say that he has been lagging behind other political leaders when it comes to actually enacting the plans that he has laid out.

When it comes time for a president to run for reelection environmental groups often rate the power of the president when it comes to dealing with the issues at hand. While the president was receiving high marks in the early days of his presidency, the later days were filled with economic issues and as such there was little said or done about the environment.

This is something that many of the environmental groups hope will change if Obama is reelected to the White House. They want to see him put more priority on the issues that are facing the environment, especially considering the fact that the economic issues are starting to move to the back of everyone’s mind at this time.

But there is little chance that he is going to become known as the best environmental president of all time. While he does have his moments and appears to actually care, there seems to be no drive to become the leader in such measures.

With Republicans controlling the House there will likely be little in the way of new environmental laws and measures passed in the last days of his time in office.
